Miss Kates Very, Very Special Class Project
Things get rockin’ and kids get engaged with a performance of the “Good Deed Beat Song.” Then a motivational speech about cooperation through collaboration and the importance of self-esteem helps everyone realize they can do their part. Everyone can be kind and helpful. Lori “Bucky” Buckland engages the kids and creates community spirit for kindness.

The Good Deed Challenge
5,000 Good Deeds! It’s a challenge, and author, Lori Buckland, will inspire everyone to rise up and meet the challenge. It’s not just about doing what you are told, it’s about doing a little extra to help others. It’s about working together. This assembly creates the spark to get the challenge off to a great start. Kids of all ages see the importance of coming together and making a difference.

Professional Development
Professional development workshops include meeting with the teachers and staff who will deliver this turn-key the program. The focus of the meeting will be on how to effectively introduce "Miss Kate and the Very, Very Special Class Project" and the use of the bracelet and music to maximize understanding and participation. Buck will help staff meet both language development and social emotional learning curriculum objectives.
